I received the note cards that I ordered last week from Zazzle and I thought you all would appreciate my 2 cent take on the product. Please note that I did not order the half-sheet size because I think it looks cheesy and my client, the one that I originally revised the design for, did not want half- fold.
As for the rest...
Color: Very Good. Not great but very good. In defense of the product I must note that some purples are hard to print. They get points for the purple not coming out too-too blue.
Clarity: Great. The fine details are there and it is quite clear.
Stock: The stock has a nice hand is a very nice weight. Not cheap and cheesy but very nice. The gloss is slick and is applied to all sides of the card, front, back and inside spread.
Fold: The fold is okay. The stock is a little thick to expect it to fold very well. They did a good job with it though. No issues.
Cropping of the design: The design wraps around the fold and onto the back. I'm not crazy about this but it is passable.
Packaging: The cards are attractively packaged and were shipped in a box large enough to provide air space so the corners of the plastic box did not get damaged. The box contained enough peanuts to provide an adequate cushion.
Speed of production and delivery: Good. They're here. They were not delivered to Bum-Fuck WhereEver Street. I'm happy.
One Nit: That ugly freaking Zazzle logo on the back. I don't mind it when I go to a store and Hallmark tags the back because they hired people to create the card. In this case, the card design and illustration are my work. I don't like them signing my work. They are, after all, the printer. None of the other printers that I deal with tag my work.
And that wraps up my 2-cent take. In my opinion, if you order cards from Zazzle, you will be pleased with the product overall.

Dear Zazzle:
I absolutely agree with this decision. Acorns that big and jittery, enrobed or not, should never be displayed in any public venue. That dastardly oak leaf should be ashamed of himself.
Too: The artistic nudity and the frolicing menage a trois is beyond despicable. I should be ashamed of myself for promoting, and further exploiting, such lewd and lascivious behavior among the local flora.
As for the bit about this artwork hurting your reputation... Curious that the tee was awarded a TBA. You might want to look into that.
Kindest and best regards,
Haze McElhenny

Christopher, my husband's grandson, is proudly rockin his Angry Bunny tee designed by Kenn Wislander.
Seriously, it was in the 70's yesterday - gorgeous weather - and the kid was sporting all of these clothes. Oh... Well.
You can pick up your very own tee at Zazzle: http://www.zazzle.com/wislander
All of the Pirate talk has obviously gone to my head.
So here are 3 new banners to share.
These banners are free for download and are intended for use within the Vox Community. Of course, comments, credit and a link back are always nice and greatly appreciated. If you're interested you can check out the rest of the collection here.
Of course I'm still vying for votes, stars and comments in Zazzle's Talk Like a Pirate Contest. So [please] do a girl a favor and help me out. You can view my design here.
Kenn's in too and a nod in his direction certainly couldn't hurt.
;)
Well [actually] I don't think it ever stops.
Seriously though...
I'd like to congratulate Kenn on his win in Zazzle's Fake Mascot Contest.
Awesome stuff, dood. What can I tell you. I'm overwhelmingly impressed and [now] inspired.
And for those of you who are now curious and/or imbued with the spirit...
You'll be interested to know that Zazzle is running another contest and a very interesting one at that. Talk Like a Pirate Day.... Check it out.
And his infectious enthusiasm naturally drug me into the fray
This shirt is my entry and [doncha know] it got selected for inclusion into the Today's Best collection.
This bodes well for me - I hope. There's $1000.00 at stake so - if you really love me - help a girl out and throw her a few stars and/or comments [please - I'm almost begging - see]
