I'm actively seeking representation on some of my latest fashion designs. There are several options that I'll consider:
- You could purchase an extended license through iStockPhoto for these designs
- You can contact me to discuss terms of a buyout on any of these designs.
- You could agree to provide representation for marketing any [or all] of these pieces.
I absolutely love the hand-drawn, rough and chalky feel of this work. It was created by manipulating the standard set of brushes pre-packaged with Adobe Illustrator.
The skirt's a classic updated with a current top.
As for the *** POP (art) ***
And the artwork
PM Mixology Tunic Skirt and Leggings
And the artwork
The artwork for this illustration is derived from several of my original paintings. I am the copyright holder and original creator of those paintings. Additionally, you may see some of the work in progress as well as the finished works at http://www.flickr.com/photos/studio524 and http://www.ebsqart.com/Artists/cmd_15437_profile_portfolio.htm.
They are now good to go.

I'm a freelance artist, illustrator and designer, garnering most of my work from one end of the fashion industry or another. Between gigs you'll find me working on my stock portfolio at iStockPhoto.
Because I've been feeling more like a production artist breaking up so many of the collections of fashion/production flats in my stock portfolio, I decided to give myself a break by rustling up some of my original cartoons and giving them a new life in completed tech packs. These tech packs are something totally new in the iStock collection. They are currently pending inspection and approval.
Of course the artwork is also pending for all 3 styles
As is the collection of production flats
Simplified production flats are also in the queue for each pajama set
Please watch this space. I'll let you know when they are approved
Footed Pajamas (front and back)
Onesie (front and back)
Romper & Caps (front and back)
Receiving Blanket (draped and flat)
Mittens are currently pending approval and the file for the entire collection has been replaced in order to conform to the standards. iStock Admin. informs me that the thumbnail will be updated shortly.
In order to provide designers with a greater number of options, I've begun the process of breaking down many of my iStock Fashion Collections into individual files. This should benefit designers in at least 3 ways:
1) You can now pick and choose the garment that you want and you are no longer "forced" to buy a complete collection when all you need is one article.
2) Up until now you've also been "forced" to accept coordinating pieces from my perspective. With the new offerings you will have the flexibilty to mix and match the looks as you desire.
3) With the new simplified line sheets I am also offering front and back views to most garments as appropriate. This allows you to add your placed prints and logos that would be more appropriate and/or realistic to either the front or back view. Also, it will allow fabric designers to show a larger sample of their creations and, if you like to mix and match your prints, it will also allow you to show more of your work.
*** This may turn out to be a rather slow process but I will keep you updated as to what is available at any given time. Please - Bear with me.
These designs are currently in the house and are available for purchase and download:
Each simplified line sheet will also be linked to the appropriate collection so you will have easy access to the entire group as you might require.
I currently have quite a few of these types of files in the queue that are pending inspection. Please stay tuned...
I'm also giving myself a HUGE pat on the back because I've finally broken through the 100 file mark and, as of today, currently have 105 offerings on iStockPhoto. That may not be a lot to most of you but it's a big deal for me.
Wooooo Hooo!!!
'Tis that time of year when the postman and private delivery services are working over time. Just in time to help you with your delivery presentations - the fashion / production flats are in the house!
And if it's not quite balmy in your neck of the woods - well have no fear - the outerwear collection is also available.
Every year EBSQart hosts a Portrait Swap for artists who are interested in participating. Sadly, for as many years as I've been associated with the group, I've never gotten involved in any of their shows. That's all changed now and I've been fortunate enough to be paired with a very talented artist and fellow VOXer, WickedDoll,
This is really exciting on a number of levels.
Just take a look at some of her work!

This particular piece is one of my personal favorites and I certainly hope that she'll feel free to create a likeness of me that is equally as free-form and creative. Afterall, who among us doesn't want to be thought of as a "living doll"?
As it is, we/ve agreed to swap 12" x 12" pieces on canvas or masonite and are keeping the time frame open. That means we aren't going to hold each other to any particular due date. This is both good and bad for me. As most of you know, I can very easily get distracted and more often than not will get overwhelmed with work-work once I start an art focused project. I have no idea why that is or what vibe filters through the universe to make it so but that is just how it goes.
In the hopes of keeping up my momentum on this project, I'm going to be posting preliminary sketches and whatever work in whatever media comes from this exchange and I hope you will find it interesting to say the least.
Note to Wicked Doll:
I thrive on honest critique so please feel free to be open and let me know what works for you and what doesn't. In the end I am hoping to create something that you'll love.

< Sketch 1
Basic vector portrait, hand-drawn in Illustrator. I actually like the graphic, stylized version and It will be very interesting to see where this idea takes me.
Sketch 2 >
More Illustrator work and again with the graphic style. I actually think that I brought this sketch a lot closer in proportion to her face. We'll see.
Please -- Watch this space for further developments that will [hopefully] be coming soon.
As I started taking pictures in creating this, I realized [yet again] that I am really super uncomfortable showing work in progress. I'm not sure why but this has been the case ever since I was asked to share such a thing.
Anyway: I'm following through because I said that I would.
Verdant Thought is 36" x 36", acrylic on Canvas being created for the CADA Art Show Benefit, hosted by the Banana Factory in my hometown of Bethlehem, PA. You'll find more details in this post: http://studio524.vox.com/library/post/lets-get-ready-to-rummmmmmmmmble.html
The first frame shows the flat canvas after it was washed with the background color, textured, and stained. The second frame shows the city outline and the character, nearing full development, and her close up. I'm still working on some of the finer details now and will update this post as I go.
Of course, any and all comments, critique and/or criticism will be welcomed. Whether you love it or hate it, your thoughts on it are appreciated. Thanks in advance for that.
More soon...
