Zazzle vs. Cafe Press

Comments

I can't help too much. I will inspect the card I got from you a little closer but it seemed to be of good quality. I know you had quality issues with other items from Zazzle previously. The magnets I got from you were good except that one had a little piece of junk under the plastic casing (no big deal to me but still a bit of a quality issue)

The only things I have ordered from Cafe Press were "Obey The Chihuahua!" stuff last year, it was a mug, a t-shirt, 2 bumper stickers and a tote bag. All were of good quality, no complaints from me at all. However, greeting cards might be another animal.

That's all I can offer!

Thanks, CP. I ordered a set of 10 cards and had them sent to myself. If they're not good I call Eric and then I will send them back. If they're fine I'll forward them to my customer.

Being able to print on both sides of the inside spread is what made the decision for me. But, like I said in my post, the customer doesn't care. We'll see.

I will let you know.

Haze, I ordered greeting cards (you can see i left a comment and pic there) before from Zazzle, the quality is very nice. I have never order from Cafepress, so I don't really know their quality.
For mug, Cafepress has better quality, i have seen both.
For Tee, Zazzle is better. I ordered a t-shirt for my dad from Cafepress, not too pleased with it.

Thanks so much for thie info Kim. This is really good to know.
BTW: Those cards are really beautiful.
I'm not sure if you know about this, I've just ordered 5 of my own cards and paid only $3.99 for shipping. Great deal! :)
Thanks for this! I knew about this promo before but I actually thought it had expired. Oh... Well...
Zazzle offers more features, but I've found CafePress' overall quality is generally better. But Zazzle tends to mess up, too. Most recent example: I had a contest at my VOX and sent a t-shirt directly from Zazzle to the 1st place winner and they screwed it up. Sent her the wrong shirt (not even one of my products, for crying out loud)! That experience has made me leery about using Zazzle for a professional client, especially if there are time constraints.

Not sure that really helps, but there you go.

Hey, Kirk! Thanks. It helps. No worries.
I've been on the receiving end of Zazzle's screw ups myself and I know exactly what you are saying. That's why I am having the cards sent here first. So I can inspect them. If anything is wrong they will go back.

Zazzle is better. Better quality, better shipping record and better selection of products, styles, sizes etc.

Here's why you should use Zazzle over CP :

>They produce the order within 24hrs and ship the next day.

>You can allow your shoppers to customize the cards with their own images or messages.

>As you mentioned, Zazzle allows you to customize all 4 sides of the greeting card. Not limiting like CP.

>Zazzle offers discounts to your shoppers starting with the second product that they place. NO discount on CP unless they buy at least 15 or more...

>Zazzle is has the ability to sell REAL USPS postage stamps to go with your cards. CP doesnt.

> Look at the long list of retail partners that use Zazzle. They could have choosen CP, but they chose Zazzle because of the higher quality...
