Comic Relief -- Fleur di Peep

Some of you know and some of you don't: Just Born [the makers of Peeps], the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Bethlehem Association are sponsoring a Peeps Art Competition. The Mission: to make anything your little heart desires from Peeps. Okay. So I did. And here is a preview.

I'll be dropping this work off tomorrow. DC, Drew, and my friend Sarah think this is kick-ass original and, if anyone else comes to the competition with anything [even remotely] similar to this, my husband has promised to eat it. Of that I will take pictures - You have my word. In the meantime, please wish me luck.

Thanks, CP. You have noooo idea how long this took. That's why I'm not afraid to post a preview or worry about somebody copping the idea. It was hours upon hours of work. I even ended up wioth a song...

Ya know your post that's 5 days old -- the one that I just read. That's how it goes with me an contests. I'm not holding out much hope myself but I do sooo appreciate the vote of confidence.

BTW: Ya gotta watch the song. My husband's singing it at work and at home. It's highly contagious.

Thanks so much, Kim. I'm delivering her today - 3 days in advance of the deadline. Judging is April 4th but she'll be on display in a local shop window from the 15th. We'll see how it goes. Once she's up I'll have to take a pic and of all the other entries too.

As a secondary plan, submit the pics to CoffeeTalking.com - they're offering a $15 gift card in a "playing with your peeps" contest. Contest ends on the 20th.
