Due to the weather, there has not been many chances for walking or pics in the past few days but I have bunches that I have not shared so I picked a few to share.

and I know you are probably sick of me posting pictures of Milkshake -- no wait, I take it back -- NO ONE is ever sick of Milkshake, and if you are, someone must have urinated in your eye drops or contact solution because that's the ONLY way you could ever find pain in viewing all that is white and fuzzy. Anyways I'm only posting this photo because I thought it was funny to see him clearly trying to imitate an old painting of mine...
Seriously, he was trying to reach his back leg, he had a slew of poses he was trying out. What a weirdo.

I thought I'd be better today. I planned to take today off as my "safety day" - where I could go back to work but wouldn't because I've learned that doing so tends to cause me to relapse then be out for another week or so.
But my nose had other plans. And my lungs are feeling icky too. I'm still having a lot of hopes for avoiding bronchitis but it's hard to predict at this point. At least I'm not quite as tired as yesterday. Though still not up for anything beyond sitting on the sofa , Not even minor chores like putting away my laundry or, I dunno, buying some food.
Tomorrow will be interesting. The water line replacement project is supposed to finally finish - with my water being turned off from 8am to 3pm. And I have 401(k) rollover paperwork that must be faxed in by tomorrow or the money goes away to some account that no one seems to know how to access (I'm not sure what's up with that - it took too much energy to bother reading). So I reaaaalllly need to go into the office. But I may do little more than feel like shit and spread my germies to everyone else.
I guess I also need to cancel my workout for tomorrow night. Damn. I really want to get back on practicing flying body spirals (as I feared, after I stopped being able to do them, I haven't be able to resume). I assume I'll also be too sick to go to the workshop and "Girl's Night" party at SirenDance on Sat.
But, otherwise, I'm fine. I needed some time off from work. This just isn't my preferred method for achieving it.

OK so I like Etsy for the most part.The fees are reasonable and most of the people seem pretty cool. Then ya get the wackos. The ones who are so busy looking for a "deal" the forget to A) be polite B)be relatively honest.
I try my damnedest to be honest. I put shipping fees that are approx what the average person is going to have to spend. I don't pad my shipping with handling fees, don't charge for any materials for packing don't even charge for gas to get me to the post office which is about a 10-15 drive from me. Most days I walk which is long, but hey I need the exercise.
Then I get the people who start messaging me asking for a reduction in shipping. No sorry I already lose money on shipping. Then they email again asking for a 50% reduction in shipping, um no sorry this is what I have to pay to send small packages out. THEN they pay and say "Send this ASAP as it is for a birthday pressy" nothing polite , just SEND THIS OUT ASAP. THEN I find out they are AUSTRALIA!!!!!!
Now I don't have issues with shipping to Australia I have done it often, and usually I would just swallow the fees and mail it off...surface...which will still cost me 4-5 more than the what they paid. But NOOOO they want it fast so that would mean air mail which means closer to 25$ to ship, which means I will be SPENDING MONEY TO GIVE THEM THE ITEM FOR FREE.
I think not
Also the fact is they were trying to scam me from the get go...sure this person wanted me to ship an item to Australia for 3$ I can't ship around the corner for 3$. They also never mentioned their location & did not have their location listed in their profile. I did check just figured they were in the US, like 90% of my sales.
SO I immediately REFUND their whole amount and tell them the cost to ship to Australia is prohibitive I am sorry for their disappointment. I get slammed with negative feedback. Complaining that I said this was the shipping fee and that I should then just send it out at that amount.
Funny how we didn't feel that way when asking me to reduce the fee by 50% now did we?
anyway surprisingly enough I neg'd them for the audacity they showed. I get so sick of this sh*t. Everyone wants a deal I get it, but seriously this is mean spirited and greedy and if I could block buyers I'd have blocked her before she could buy anything.
I've live in New Zealand EVERYONE knows how expensive it is to get stuff shipped over. The balls of that person for trying to get me to ship for 3$.
anyway rant over, no offence to Aussies they are in large some of the nicest people I have ever met... except this b*tch.
Saxophonist LeRoi Moore of Dave Matthews Band has died of complications from an ATV accident. He was 46.
Shame.
I liked his contribution to the band very much. I was a big fan of DMB back in college and a while after, and still enjoy many of their songs. Crash is one of my most favorite albums in my collection, especially considering I stopped collecting CDs in the late 90's after mp3s took off and I finally eluded the BMG collection goons once and for all. (Nobody here knows me, got it?)
I mean, I didn't sit barefoot in wet grass smoking doobs and mouth-kissing my dog at concerts or anything, I just liked Dave's music.
Anyway, he was a talented guy. They all are. Shame.
What the hell? I wasn't a big fan of the M.Cho show when I saw it in rehearsals but I'm still going to buy a ticket to see the finished product, and KELLY LIVE (again), in Long Beach. Dates and info at LiamSullivan.com
